(1) In the case of such notice being given to a minister of religion (being a status officer) the said status officer being satisfied on the receipt of such notice that the notice conforms to the requirements of this Act shall publish the same by publication of banns in like manner in every respect as if the party giving the notice were about to be married in Saint Lucia.
(2) The status officer having complied with the requirements of this Act shall, after the publication is complete, unless he or she is aware of any impediment or valid objection to the solemnization of the said marriage, grant a certificate of the due publication of the banns, which certificate shall be in the Form set out in Schedule 2 and shall therein state whether any opposition to the intended marriage has been served upon the said status officer.
