The office of a director is vacated—
(a) upon the death of the director;
(b) if the director becomes disqualified under section 5(3);
(c) if the director resigns under section 21;
(d) if the Minister revokes the appointment of that director under section 22;
(e) if the director's appointment is not renewed by the Minister as of the date of expiry of the director's term of appointment;
(f) if the director fails to attend 3 consecutive meetings of the Board without presenting a medical certificate or without being excused by the Minister in writing, in the case of the Chairperson or by the Chairperson in writing in the case of any other director; or
(g) fails, without reasonable excuse, to attend at least half of the meetings of the Board held in the last year.
