77. Power to take samples

Any officer may at any time take samples of any spirits or any substance used in the manufacture, production or composition of spirits at any distillery. However, if the article sampled is subject to any duty of excise and the samples are taken after duty has been charged and paid on such article, he or she shall pay for the samples, if so required, at the current wholesale or other reasonable price.
