45.   Relevant evidence to be admissible

  1.  

    (1)   Evidence that is relevant in proceedings is, subject to this Act, admissible, and shall be admitted in the proceedings, and evidence that is irrelevant in the proceedings is not so admissible.

    (2)   Evidence, shall not be taken to be irrelevant by reason only that it relates to—

    1.  

      (a)     the credibility of a party or a witness;

    1.  

      (b)     the admissibility of other evidence; or

    1.  

      (c)     a failure to adduce evidence.
