(1) A reference in this Act to a business includes a reference to—
(a) a profession, calling, occupation, trade or undertaking;
(b) an activity engaged in or carried on by the State, or the government of a foreign country;
(c) an activity engaged in or carried on by a person or body holding office or exercising power under or by virtue of the Constitution or of a law, whether of Saint Lucia or of a foreign country, being an activity engaged in or carried on in the performance of the duties of the office or in the exercise of the power; and
(d) the proceedings of—
(i) the House of Assembly or Senate of Saint Lucia, or
(ii) the Legislature of a foreign country.
(2) For the purposes of subsection (1), it does not matter whether or not—
(a) the business is engaged in or carried on for profit; or
(b) the business is engaged in or carried on outside Saint Lucia.
