167. Regulations

(1) The Minister may make Regulations prescribing matters—
1. (a) required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed; or
1. (b) necessary or convenient to be prescribed,

for carrying out or giving effect to this Act.

(2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), the Minister may make Regulations for the procedure for taking DNA samples for evidence and for the admission of such evidence by the courts.

(3) The Regulations made under subsection (2) shall be subject to a negative resolution of Parliament.
