10. Courts and proceedings to which Act applies

(1) This Act applies to and in relation to all proceedings in a court in Saint Lucia, including—
1. (a) proceedings that relate to bail;
1. (b) interlocutory proceedings or proceedings of a like kind; or
1. (c) proceedings heard in chambers.

(2) This Act does not apply to or in relation to—
1. (a) proceedings the hearing of which began before the commencement of this Act;
1. (b) criminal proceedings in so far as those proceedings concern the determination of the penalty to be imposed in respect of an offence.
