(1) The Moderator of the Evangelical Church of the West Indies (Saint Lucia), the Vice Moderator, the Secretary and the Treasurer of the Corporation and their successors in office are hereby appointed Trustees of the Corporation and are hereby created a Body Corporate by name of the Evangelical Church of the West Indies (Saint Lucia) and by that name shall have perpetual succession and may sue and be sued in all Courts of Justice in Saint Lucia and shall have and use a Common Seal provided that such Seal shall only be used in the presence of at least 2 Trustees.
(2) A reference at or before the commencement of this Act in any deed, contract, hypothecary obligation, bond or security or other document to persons other than those designated in this section and their successors in office as Trustees of the Corporation shall be construed as Trustees of the Corporation within the provisions of subsection (1).
