(1) In determining whether a person who applies for registration is duly qualified to be registered under this Act, the fact that he or she adopts or refrains from adopting, intends to adopt or refrain from adopting, the practice of any particular theory of engineering or applied science shall not be taken into consideration.
(2) Where a candidate submits to examination in order to entitle him or her to be registered under this Act, there shall not be imposed upon him or her an obligation to adopt or refrain from adopting the practice of any particular theory of engineering or applied science as a test or condition of admitting him or her to examination or registration under this Act.
