(1) Subject to section 2, there are established 15 Councils for the constituencies specified in the Schedule.
(2) For the purposes of this Act, the Castries Constituency Council is the Council for the following constituencies—
(a) Castries North;
(b) Castries Central;
(c) Castries East;
(d) Castries South.
(3) For the purposes of this Act the constituency of Anse La Raye-Canaries shall have the following two Councils—
(a) The Anse La Raye Council.
(b) The Canaries Council.
