(1) Where the body corporate insures the building under section 14(1)(c), subsections (2) and (3) shall apply despite any other law relating to insurance.
(2) The body corporate shall give written notice of any insurance effected by it on the building and any change therein or termination thereof to each unit owner and on the written request of any unit owner or mortgagee in possession of a unit shall produce for inspection by such owner or mortgagee or any person authorised in writing by such owner or mortgagee the policy or policies of insurance effected by the body corporate and the receipt or receipts for the last premium or premiums paid in respect thereof.
(3) The policy of insurance taken out by the body corporate in respect of the building as aforesaid is not liable to be brought into contribution with any other policy of insurance save another policy authorised under the provisions of section 14(1)(c) in respect of the same building.
