The objectives of this Act are to—
(a) protect the integrity of computer systems and the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data;
(b) prevent abuse of the computer systems referred to in paragraph (a); and
(c) facilitate the gathering and use of electronic evidence in relation to criminal activities perpetrated through computer systems.
