22. Institution of criminal proceedings

(1) A person shall not institute Criminal proceedings under this Act except on information filed by, or with the consent of, the Director of Public Prosecutions.

(2) Where the Director of Public Prosecutions declined to institute criminal proceedings the aggrieved person may appeal to the High Court.
