8. Births to be registered in Saint Lucia

The birth of a child shall be registered in Saint Lucia if—

(a) the child was born in Saint Lucia;

(b) a judge of the Supreme Court finds that the child was born in Saint Lucia and makes an order that—
1. (i) the birth be registered, and
1. (ii) the prescribed particulars about the birth be registered.
