(1) A District Registrar shall transmit to the Registrar four times in every year, on 1 January, 1 April, 1 July and 1 October, respectively, a true copy, certified by him or her under his or her hand, of all the entries of births and deaths in the Register kept by him or her and made since the last quarterly return.
