(1) The Registrar may, at his or her instance or at the instance of an interested party, rectify incorrect or incomplete records of civil status.
(2) The Registrar may delegate his or her functions pursuant to this section to one or more Assistant Registrars or Adjudicators appointed by the Judicial and Legal Service Commission.
