(1) Information and complaints in respect of an offence committed within a municipality against this Act or Bye-laws made by the Castries Constituency Council under this Act or another enactment, may be laid and made by a Castries City Police in his or her own name.
(2) A Castries City Police may conduct the proceedings before the magistrate in a case in which he or she is the complainant under the powers conferred by this section.
