2. Interpretation
In this Act —
“applicable offence” has the meaning assigned in the Treaty;
“issuing State Party” has the meaning assigned in the Treaty;
“judicial authority” means the judicial authority under section 4;
“Minister” means the Minister responsible for national security;
“requested person” has the meaning assigned in the Treaty;
“Treaty” means the CARICOM Arrest Warrant Treaty signed by the Government of Saint Lucia on the 6th day of July, 2017, the text of which is set out in the Schedule.
