6.   Restriction in use of name

  1.  

    (1)   Except with the consent of the Minister, a person shall not in connection with any trade or business use the name of the Caribbean Investment Corporation or any name so resembling it as to be likely to deceive.

    (2)   A person who contravenes the provisions of subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of $5,000 or to imprisonment for 12 months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
