Senator the Honourable Lorenzo Francis

Mr Lorenzo Francis holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Accounting, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of the West Indies (Cavehill and Mona Campuses), a Master of Laws (LLM) in Tax and Corporate Law degree from University of London and then attained the Bar Vocational Course (BVC) from the College of Law, England.  Mr Lorenzo Francis was admitted to the Bar of England in November 1999 and the Bar of Saint Lucia in December 1999.  Mr Francis served the Government of Saint Lucia in the capacity of Senior Accountant, Assistant Comptroller and Deputy Comptroller at the Inland Revenue Department and as Attorney General of Saint Lucia from July 2010 to November 2011.  During his tenure, Mr Francis explored an alternative dispute resolutions approach in an effort to speed up the conclusion outstanding of matters.
