It is the duty of veterinary officers to give without further remuneration veterinary attention and animal husbandry advisory and supervisory services to Government Departments, institutions and livestock projects and such other services connected with animal health and animal husbandry as the Governor General may direct and such other duties as may be specified by any statute in force.
