6. Qualifications necessary for registration
A person who—
-
(a) is registered or entitled by law to be registered as a veterinary surgeon in the United Kingdom or in a member State under any Act in force; or
-
(b) holds any certificate granted in the British Commonwealth, a member State or foreign country, recognised by the Board as furnishing a sufficient guarantee of the possession of requisite knowledge and skill for the efficient practice of veterinary surgery,
on payment of a fee of $5 and subject to the provisions of section 8, is eligible to be registered under this Act.
