Subject to the provisions of this Act the Company may carry out the following works—
(a) Excavation of an inlet channel from Gros Islet Bay across Reduit Beach to the swamp area with protective rock fill structures extending seaward from the inlet channel and inland therefrom to the swamp area;
(b) Dredging of the swamp area and discharging the dredged material by pipe on the sea-bead in Gros Islet Bay;
(c) Construction of perimeter banks around the dredged area so as to establish tidal basins in place of the swamps;
(d) Reclamation of a neck of land between Pigeon Island and the mainland, thereby permanently closing the sea-gap.
