8. Rate of sickness benefit

The rate of sickness benefit is 65% of the average insurable earnings of an insured person in the last 4 months immediately preceding —

(a) the 1^st day of March, 2020;

(b) the contribution period in which the 1^st day of the continuous period of incapacity for work occurred, whichever is the later.
