5. Designation of Fiscal Agency
The Eastern Caribbean Currency Authority shall serve as the Fiscal Agency as required under Article 5, section 1 of the Articles of the Agreement of the Fund and Article 3 section 2 of the Articles of Agreement of the Bank, and is accordingly authorised to carry out, on behalf of Saint Lucia, all operations and transactions authorised under the various provisions of the Articles of Agreement of the Fund and the Bank. The Eastern Caribbean Currency Authority is designated as depository for the holdings of currency in Saint Lucia by the Fund and the Bank.
