(1) Sand, stone, shingle or gravel the digging or removal of which has been authorised by a permit as provided in section 4, shall not be conveyed or moved along any public road between the hours of 6:00 in the evening and 5:00 in the morning.
(2) Any person who contravenes the provisions of subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $50 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months.
