FACILITIES FOR ENFORCEMENT (SUPREME COURT) RULES – SECTION 7

RULES made under the authority of Article 37 of the Code of Civil Procedure for more effectively carrying out the provisions of the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Act.

  1.  

    1.   (1)   Where an order is registered in the High Court under the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Act, the Registrar of the High Court shall forward all papers lodged with him or her, other than those required for registration, to the Attorney General who may, thereupon, make such application and take such steps as may be necessary to enforce such order.

    (2)   The Attorney General is considered to be the legal representative of the party in whose favour such order was made or given unless and until some legal practitioner is appointed in his or her place.
