15. Care and treatment to be given licensed animals
Subject to the provisions of articles 985 and 986 of the Civil Code, it is lawful for the Livestock Officer to administer or cause to be administered to licensed animals such care and treatment as may be necessary or desirable to maintain or improve their health or breed and to carry out any of the following operations on such animals: blood testing, castration, dehorning, insemination, branding, marking, dipping and spraying.
