(1) A person who fails to pay any fee required to be paid under this Act within the time prescribed shall pay a penalty equal to 10% of the fee required to be paid together with the amount which he or she ought to have paid.
(2) Despite subsection (1), the Authority may recommend and Cabinet may approve the suspension of a licence issued to a person who fails to pay a prescribed fee within the time set under the Act.
(3) Where a licence has been suspended under subsection (2) a person who continues to engage in the gaming activity for which the suspended licence had been issued commits an offence and upon summary conviction is liable to a fine of $500,000 or to imprisonment for a term of 7 years.
