4. Appointment of forest officers
The Governor General may appoint such and so many persons to be forest officers as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act under the supervision of the Chief Forest Officer, and may, by writing under his or her hand, confer upon any such officer power or authority, either generally or in a specific case, to do any act or grant any permission for which power or authority is required under the provisions of this Act.
