Spirits may be methylated in warehouse under such conditions as may be prescribed in respect of the operation and in respect of the disposal of the spirits methylated. Methylated spirits shall, subject to such of the prescribed conditions as may affect increases or decreases in quantity or strength, be exempt from the payment of excise duty.
