(1) It is lawful for the Minister to appoint such officers to and for such places as they may consider necessary, and to appoint a Comptroller of Excise who shall be responsible for the instruction and control of the officers and for the efficient administration of this Act.
(2) Any person so appointed who shall be concerned directly or indirectly in the sale of spirits is liable to a penalty not exceeding $500. (Amended by Act 2 of 1992)
