146. Certifying false copies or extracts

Any officer authorised or required by this Act to furnish any certified copies or extracts who wilfully certifies any document to be a true copy or extract, knowing that the same is not a true copy or extract, as the case may be, commits an offence and is liable upon conviction on indictment to imprisonment for 5 years.
