(1) The Minister shall revoke the appointment of a member if the member—
(a) without reasonable excuse, fails to attend three consecutive meetings of the Council;
(b) is declared a bankrupt under Chapter 9 of the Commercial Code of the Revised Laws of Saint Lucia 1957;
(c) is declared by a court to be incapacitated by physical or mental illness;
(d) engages in fraudulent or other dishonest behaviour or behaviour conflicting with the discharge of his or her duties as a member of the Council;
(e) has been charged and convicted of a criminal offence except where the offence is a minor traffic offence or is spent in accordance with the Criminal Records (Rehabilitation of Offenders) Act.
(2) The Minister may for reasonable cause revoke the appointment of a Council before the expiration of the tenure of the Council.
