CHAPTER SEVENTH
MOTIONS AND RULES

    343.   The following motions, being motions of course may be made and filed, without giving any previous notice, in the office of the Registrar, and rules nisi, entered thereon by the Registrar as if made in open Court—

    1.  

      1.     For the Sheriff to return a writ.

    1.  

      2.     To set aside or confirm a report.

    1.  

      3.     To pay money into Court otherwise than tender with plea.

    1.  

      4.     That the seizing party declare whether he or she admits or contests an opposition.

    1.  

      5.     That the party seized declare whether he or she admits or contests the opposition.

    1.  

      6.     That the Sheriff bring in the body.

  1.  

    344.   Any party intending to produce an affidavit, or paper written in support of any notice or rule, must with the copy of such motion or rule, serve on the opposite party a copy of the affidavit or other paper-writing intended to be produced; and in default of so doing the opposite party is entitled to delay to take communication of the documents.
