Every register for registration must, before any entry is made therein, be authenticated by a memorandum written on the first page thereof and certifying the purpose for which the register is intended, the number of pages therein, and the day, month, and year in which the memorandum is made, and such memorandum shall be signed at length, and, the first and last page being numbered, shall be initialled by the Judge.
