(1) After the expiration of 6 months after any death or after the finding of any dead body elsewhere than in a house, that death must not be registered except—
(a) with the written authority of the Registrar;
(b) in accordance with the Regulations;
(c) upon payment of the prescribed fee.
(2) The fact of the authority having been given under paragraph (a) of subsection (1) must be entered in the copy of the Register of Deaths held by the District Registrar.
