21D.   Court may order payment by a person through a financial institution

  1.  

    (1)   Where a person holds money in an account maintained with a financial institution, and a confiscation order is made against that person, the Court may order the financial institution to pay from the money maintained, to the Court, on account of the amount payable under the confiscation order.

    (2)   A financial institution that contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $200,000.
