4. Consequence of Officer refusing or neglecting to take Oath
If any officer mentioned in the second column of Schedule 2 refuses or neglects, when any oath required to be taken by him or her under this Act is duly tendered, to take such oath, he or she shall, if he or she has already entered on his or her office, vacate the same, and if he or she has not entered on his or her office, be disqualified from entering on the same; but a person shall not be compelled, in respect of the same appointment to the same office, to take such oath more times than one.
