6. Prohibition on manufacture, sale, use and distribution

(1) A person shall not manufacture, sell, use or distribute a styrofoam or plastic food service container specified under —
1. (a) Part A of the Schedule, from the 1^st day of August, 2021; (Amended by Act 8 of 2020)
1. (b) Part B of the Schedule, from the 1^st day of August, 2022. (Amended by Act 8 of 2020)

(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $15,000.
