(1) The Advisory Council shall keep account of its transactions to the satisfaction of the Minister and the accounts shall be audited annually by a qualified auditor appointed by the Advisory Council, with the prior approval of the Minister.
(2) The Advisory Council shall present a statement of its audited accounts, in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1), to the Minister within 4 months of expiration of every financial year.
(3) The Minister shall, as soon as possible after receiving the statement of accounts in accordance with subsection (2), lay a copy thereof before Parliament.
(4) The provisions of subsection (1) do not derogate from the powers of the Director of Audit by any other written law.
