ALIEN LANDHOLDING (LICENSING) REGULATIONS – SECTION 56
Commencement [8 May 2020]
1. Citation
These Regulations may be cited as the Alien Landholding (Licensing) Regulations, 2020.
2. Interpretation
In these Regulations, “Act” means the Alien Landholding (Licensing) Act.
3. Form of an application for a Certificate of Eligibility
For the purposes of section 8(2)(a) of the Act, an application for a Certificate of Eligibility is in Form 1 as set out in Schedule 1.
4. Fee for an application for a Certificate of Eligibility
For the purposes of section 8(2)(c)(vi) of the Act, the application fee for a certificate of eligibility is specified in Schedule 3.
5. Form of a notice of director, beneficial owner or shareholder
For the purposes of section 8(2)(c)(v)(D) of the Act, a notice of director, beneficial owner or shareholder is in Form 2 as set out in Schedule 1.
6. Form of Certificate of Eligibility
For the purposes of section 11 of the Act, a Certificate of Eligibility is in Part A as set out in Schedule 2.
7. Form of an application for an alien landholding licence
For the purposes of section 15(2)(b) of the Act, an application for an alien landholding licence is in Form 3 as set out in Schedule 1.
8. Fee for an application for an alien landholding licence to hold a subdivided lot
For the purposes of section 15(2)(c)(vi) of the Act, the fee for an application for an alien landholding licence to hold a subdivided lot is specified in Schedule 3.
9. Form of an alien landholding licence
For the purposes of section 18 of the Act, an alien landholding licence is in Part B as set out in Schedule 2.
10. Fees for alien landholding licence
For the purposes of section 18 of the Act, the fees for an alien landholding licence are specified in Schedule 3.
11. Form of an application to amend a licence issued under the former Act or an alien landholding licence
For the purposes of section 22(2) of the Act, an application to amend a licence issued under the former Act or an alien landholding licence is in Form 4 as set out in Schedule 1.
12. Fee for an amended alien landholding licence
For the purposes of section 22(3) of the Act, the fee for an amended alien landholding licence is specified in Schedule 3.
13. Non-refundable, non-development fee or non-operation fee
For the purposes of section 28(b) of the Act, the non-refundable, non-development fee or non-operation fee is specified in Schedule 3.
14. Form of an application for an extension of time
For the purposes of section 31(1) of the Act, an application for an extension of time is in Form 5 as set out in Schedule 1.
15. Form of an application for an alien investor entrance permit
For the purposes of section 44 of the Act, an application for an alien investor entrance permit is in Form 6 as set out in Schedule 1.
16. Form of an alien investor entrance permit
For the purposes of section 45(1) of the Act, an alien investor entrance permit is in Part C as set out in Schedule 2.
17. Fee for an alien investor entrance permit
For the purposes of section 45(1)(c) of the Act, the fee for an alien investor entrance permit is specified in Schedule 3.
18. Form of a notice of change of director, beneficial owner or shareholder
For the purposes of section 50(1) of the Act, a notice of a change of director, beneficial owner or shareholder is in Form 7 as set out in Schedule 1.
